What We Do

Nursery - K

Children's Ministries at Grace Community provide a program for children newborn through 5th grade. The main focus of the ministry is "to teach the Holy Scriptures from childhood so each child will have wisdom to receive the salvation that comes from trusting in Christ Jesus." Our program is meant to assist parents in the spiritual training and development of their children.

Nursery & Toddler

Nursery care is designed forinfants until they become walkers. At that time, they transition to the Garden Patch (Toddler) room until they are three years old, and out of diapers. They are cared for by capable and compassionate Grace Community Church volunteers who are overseen by Stephanie Mercier.

Beginning in the Puddlejumpers Room, preschoolers have fun playing togetherand engaging in an age appropriate curriculumwhich buildsa knowledgeof God through stories and teachings from the Bible. Volunteers serving in Puddlejumpers enjoy young children, and seek to showthem the love of Christ innurturing ways. For more details on the above groups contact Danielle Bradley.

Kingdom Kidz, Grades 1-3

Kingdom Kidz is happy to welcome students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade to join us each Sunday morning. Our time together focuses on a biblical lesson with times of worship and small group discussions with students to reach each one’s heart for the Lord.

As leaders, Dave and Jodie Stanton feel blessed to be part of each child’s journey and to work with a team dedicated to our church’s next generation. The whole team loves to build community with children and their families.

If you are interested in joining as a Sunday morning teacher or as a substitute for Sundays, please contact David or Jodie Stanton.

Starting Line | Grades 4th & 5th

The strong desire of Starting Line leaders is to keep growing in their love for God and to allow that love to spill over into the hearts of Grace’s youth as the leaders build relationships with them. As coordinators for these groups, Kevin and Allison Parliament’s prayer and longing for our young people is that they have hearts that remain open and soft to God and others for a lifetime.

A typical Sunday in Starting Line includes an “ice breaker” get-to-know each other question), a 10-20 minute time of Biblical teaching and discussion, prayer, and finally games and/or chatting.

For more information on Starting Line or CrossRoads, contact Matt Mezak.
